About

I've cared for the user and customer journey throughout my career.

Over 20 yrs at Microsoft, I built and led customer-facing teams and products. First in District Sales, promoted to Customer then Enterprise Product Marketing, I ultimately held leadership roles in Global Strategic Partner Business Development, Sales and Technical engagement, with complex Global 100 account wins. Then we moved to Hawaii.

There, I built an eCommerce blog integrated with Shopify and digital content channels, for some Hawaii artists. I built a travel affiliate blog, a donor/constituent micro-site with CRM marketing automation, a cultural/commercial website expressing inclusivity, and more. And I design/built two travel and lodging mobile apps. Portfolio: StoryUX.co—not .com ;-).

My focus was Hawaii, but the last couple years changed a lot.

First version digital experiences have proliferated as customers' journeys went on-line, en masse. Often customers are left struggling to engage with companies. The world needs better UX and I'm passionate to help clients give customers great digital experiences. Software should—after all—delight users and make life easier.

I'm pursuing multi-course certifications in UX User Research and UX Design currently.

Recently my family and I moved to the Bay Area where I enjoy exploring the city, attending live performances of anything good and traveling with our standard poodle Tux.
